Ich habe absolut keine Ahnung, wo die guten Bewertungen her kommen, die beiden Angestellten hatten wirklich überhaupt gar keine Ahnung und habe über 20 Minuten für die Herausgabe von zwei Fahrrädern gebraucht. Zusätzlich hatten sie dann kein Werkzeug, mit dem man die Sitze verstellen konnte. Die Fahrräder waren auch allgemein in einem wirklich schlechten Zustand.

We decided to give this business a try since we were in the neighborhood, but it was a disappointing experience.

I rented three bikes for 24 hours. After picking them up, I left them at the shop to go get my family. When we returned to ride out, one of the bikes had been swapped with no explanation.

The issues didn’t stop there. One of the bikes, a child’s bike, had a loose crank. We asked to exchange it, but the replacement also had a loose stem — clearly not well maintained.

To make things worse, one of the keys broke while trying to unlock the chain. Despite returning the bikes before the rental period ended, we were charged 15 euros for the broken key.

Overall: poorly maintained bikes and unhelpful customer service. If you need to rent a bike in Valencia, I recommend going elsewhere.

We had been reccomend the BikeAlao for bike rental from our hotel.
The booking/paying was easy and straight forward, we booked online the night before for a full day.

We have rented two adult bikes and two kids bikes.The adult bikes were in very good condition and almost as new.

Unfortunately the kids bikes had to be changed because one had issues with the breaks and the other with the gears.
My 11 years old has ended up riding on an adult bike because no other kids bike on his size was available.

We had a wonderful ride through the Gardins of Turia.

We were unlucky also that our key had broken in the lock of one of the bikes but we managed to take it out and deliver it once the bikes were returned.

The BikeAlao employees were very kind and helpful and we were not charged for the broken key.
All in all a very good experience even though the "fleet" of children bikes could definitely use an upgrade.

My son and I rented touring bikes from BikeAlao and spent a lovely day biking along the coast down to the lagoon (L'Albufera) and back, with lunch along the way. We reserved the bikes online the day before, and they were ready and waiting for us at our reservation time. The bikes were comfortable to ride, and we were also able to rent helmets for a small fee, plus borrow locks, a tire repair kit, and a handlebar holder for my phone so I could see the map while riding. We had no problems on the trip and will be glad to rent from this company again on a future trip!
